Our Story: Welcome to Barmelle

We started out as Babe Mode, a name that captured our bold first step into entrepreneurship. It represented hustle, heart, and our passion for creating something of our own. As we grew, not just as a business but as people, so did our vision. What began as Babe Mode Boutique has now evolved into Barmelle: a more elevated, intentional brand rooted in purpose, family, and legacy. While the name has changed, our mission remains the same: to empower movement, confidence, and freedom through every piece we create.

We’re Sarah and Josh, founders of Barmelle, parents of four, and partners in every sense of the word.

We started Babe Mode almost a year ago with a simple but powerful dream: to create a brand that gave us more time with our kids, more freedom in our lives, and more meaning in the work we do. Between long shifts, late nights, and the everyday chaos of parenting, we knew there had to be a better way—one that felt aligned with the life we wanted to build.

So we took the leap. With no big team or fancy investors, just heart, hustle, and a vision, Babe Mode was born.

As the brand grew, so did our vision. What started as Babe Mode became something much more: a movement rooted in purpose, family, and legacy. That growth led us to evolve into Barmelle. While the name changed, our mission remained the same—to empower movement, confidence, and freedom through every piece we create.

What started with thoughtfully designed activewear quickly became something bigger. Our pieces are built for women like us: multitaskers, go-getters, and modern-day powerhouses. Everything we create is made to support you, whether you're in motion, in your element, or in your moment.

But we didn’t stop there.
