We're Sarah and Josh, founders of Barmelle, parents of four, and partners in every sense of the word.

Barmelle didn't start in a boardroom. It started at our kitchen table, late at night, after the kids were asleep. No big team. No outside funding. Just a belief that we could build something of our own. Something that gave us more time, more freedom, and more purpose.

That first idea became Babe Mode.

What we didn't expect was what came next. A growing community of women who didn't just wear our pieces, but lived in them. Through that, we started to see what was missing. Activewear that didn't force a trade-off between comfort, style, and quality. Something that actually fit real life.

That's what Barmelle is built on.

We rebranded with intention, creating a softer, more refined identity that reflects the women who wear it. From morning workouts to school runs to nights out, it's designed to move with you through every part of your day.

Every piece is designed in Sydney with a focus on fit, feel, and longevity. We choose low-impact materials made to last, not just for how they look, but how they wear over time.

And purpose is built into everything we do. 2% of every sale goes directly to WaterAid, not as a campaign, but as part of how we operate.
