We started out as Babe Mode, a name that captured our bold first step into entrepreneurship. It represented hustle, heart, and our passion for building something of our own. As we grew, not just as a business, but as people—so did our vision.

What began as Babe Mode Boutique has now evolved into Barmelle: a more elevated, intentional brand rooted in purpose, family, and legacy. While the name has changed, our mission remains the same: to empower movement, confidence, and freedom through every piece we create.

We’re Sarah and Josh, founders of Barmelle, parents of four, and partners in every sense of the word.

We started this journey with a simple but powerful dream: to create a brand that gave us more time with our kids, more freedom in our lives, and more meaning in the work we do. Between long shifts, late nights, and the chaos of parenting, we knew there had to be a better way—one that aligned with the life we truly wanted to build.

So we took the leap. With no big team or outside funding—just heart, hustle, and a clear vision—Babe Mode was born.

As the brand grew, so did our clarity. What started with thoughtfully designed activewear quickly became something more: a movement grounded in values that matter—purpose, family, and legacy. That growth led us to rebrand into Barmelle.
